3 Notable Changes for Shiver

Dates:  2nd Sunday, December to March (Dec 10th, Jan 14th, Feb 11th, March 10th)  

Time:  10:00 am

Location:  Jim Dietrich Park  

Online registration for the series is open and can be found at Pretzel City Sports.     

Three notable changes:

(1) We are not mailing apps!  However, we will still accept mail-in registrations.  Apps can be printed from the Pagoda Pacers website or can be picked up at any of the many races timed by Pretzel City Sports. 

(2) To change things up, we are running the course in the opposite direction.     

(3) Instead of a shirt, we are offering a sports towel, measuring 11×42.

Monthly Long Run: Opalanie Park / Bryn Coed Preserve

This month’s group long run will start in Opalanie Park (Chester County) and head into the beautiful Bryn Coed Preserve.

Date: Sunday, October 29

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Starting Location: Opalanie Park

Post-Run: TBD (likely some brewery in Phoenixville)

Wednesday Night Runs (October ’23 Locations)

Our mid-week group runs have at least two different distance options (3-4 miles and 5-6 miles) with an appointed leader for each route. Each run will have its own Facebook “event,” and the routes will be posted a couple days before the run. After each run, those who can will stick around for food, drink, and good conversation, either at a nearby restaurant or a club member’s residence. Come for the run; stay (if you can) for the fellowship. (If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries–just come run with us!)

October 4: Blue Marsh Stilling Basin, Upper Lot — Post-run to follow at Blue Marsh Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

October 11: SRT Brentwood Trailhead — Post-run to follow at Mimmo’s

October 18: Horst residence (112 Maple Ave, Shillington) — Post-run to follow at the same location.

October 25: Schuylkill Valley High School — Post-run to follow at Third Rail Restaurant & Bar, Blandon

All runs start at 6:15 p.m
