Blues Cruise Group Training Run on 9/6/25

Instead of offering our normal “Weekend 10-Miler,” the Pacers encourage you to check out the Blues Cruise Training Run at Blue Marsh Lake on Saturday, September 6.

We will meet at the Lower Stilling Basin lot at 7:30 a.m. and carpool to the Old Church Road lot so that we can run point-to-point on the Blues Cruise course starting about 8 a.m. The run is almost 16 miles, with 1,600 feet of elevation gain. Runners can easily shorten it to just under 14 miles by skipping the Skinner’s Loop portion, and of course adding miles is easy too. Please comment on the Facebook Event if you need suggestions. Bring water and nutrition! Great day to dial in your race-day gear!

Wednesday Night Runs (September ’25 Locations)

Our mid-week group runs have at least two different distance options (3-4 miles and 5-6 miles) with an appointed leader for at least one of the two routes. Each run will have its own Facebook “event,” and the routes will be posted a couple days before the run. After each run, those who can will stick around for food, drink, and good conversation, either at a nearby restaurant or a club member’s residence. Come for the run; stay (if you can) for the fellowship. (If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries–just come run with us!)

All runs start at 6:15 p.m.
