Nov 17: We will run from the Knitting Mills in Wyomissing. Park in the lot off 8th Ave opposite Sly Fox. The post-run gathering will take place at Sly Fox.
It’s officially fall, and the sun is setting earlier every week. It’s time to check the batteries in your headlamp and break out your reflective gear. We hope to see you at these upcoming group runs!

Oct 6: We will run from Justin Horst’s residence (112 Maple Ave, Shillington). The post run gathering will follow at the same location. Please bring your favorite food, beverage, or dessert.
Oct 13: NEW runners night!!! We will run from the Brentwood parking lot for the Schuylkill River Trail on Morgantown Road. The post-run gathering will take place at Mimmo’s.
The days are getting shorter–enjoy these last few unburdened WNRs before we have to start breaking out the head lamps!
On the weeks that fellow club members host, please bring your favorite food, beverage, or dessert. If you can, bring an extra lawn chair so that we’ll all be able to kick back and relax!
Here are the locations and hosts for September:
–September 1: We will run from Jon and Cathy Durand’s house (2419 Laurel Rd, Reading)–one block from Wilson HS. This will be a road run, and the post-run gathering will follow at the same location.
–September 15: We will run from Nolde Forest (Sawmill Lot–overflow at Church Rd lot). Post-run gathering to follow at Ryan Watts’s house (5 Glen Hollow Ct, Reading).
–September 22: We will run from Beth and Tom’s residence (3 Marlin Ave, Wernersville). This will be a road run, with the post-run gathering to follow at the same location
–September 29: We will run from the Stilling Basin at Blue Marsh (UPPER LOT by Palisades Drive). Post-run gathering will be at Lisa Domeshek’s domicile (364 Sweitzer Rd, Sinking Spring).
Post-run gatherings continue in August as our generous members host!

–August 25: We will run from Steve and Jane’s residence (515 Brownsville Rd, Sinking Spring). This will be a trail run on the Blue Marsh trails. Post-run gathering to follow at the same location
Starting in July, we are going to have post-run hosting taking place!

Also, we will be restarting our bi-monthly charity runs this month, in order to benefit local organizations.
July 14: We will run from the Wyomissing Quarry Soccer Fields. Post-run gathering at Paolo’s Restaurant and Bar.Bring a new runner out!!!!! ***Charity run benefitting local animal shelters (bring dry/wet food, litter, treats, blankets, etc)
July 21: We will run from SOUTHERN END of Rustic Park (2000 Hay Creek Rd, Birdsboro). NOTE: THIS IS THE OPPOSITE END of Rustic. WE NEVER RAN FROM THIS END BEFORE! Listed as “Old 82 & Parking Area” on Google Maps. Post-run gathering hosted by Kim Drake (454 Alleghenyville Rd, Mohnton)
July 28: We will run from Larry and Missy Drogo’s residence (1450 Schoffers Rd, Birdsboro), with the post-run gathering to follow at the same location
June 9: Schuylkill River Trail, Angstadt Lane Trailhead, (Located off 724, near the I-176 interchange, this trailhead has access to the flat, easy Schuylkill River Trail OR the more challenging trails on Gibraltar Hill. Also, it’s BRING A NEW PACER night! All abilities welcome!)
June 23: Hamburg Area High School (New location! Park by the track. We’ll explore the trails in Kaercher Creek Park. 1787 Brewery is nearby for post-run refueling.)
June 30: Schuylkill Valley High School, Leesport (New location! Park to the right of the building. Road and trail run options.)

We have daylight and warmer temps now–sounds like a good time to “Bring a New Pacer” to Wednesday Night Run! Starting this April, each 2nd Wednesday will be “Bring a New Pacer” night, starting at the Brentwood trailhead for the Thun Trail. This central location offers an easy out-and-back option for runners who want to do any distance at any pace–no need to worry about getting lost or left behind. Come run with us! All are welcome!
