Our intended timeline for the party:
6-7 Cocktail Hour
7 Buffet starts (cleared by 9)
8/8:30ish music starts

Wine & Cheese on 9/26/26

The Pagoda Pacer Wine and Cheese Party is back for 2026 at The Barn at Cacoosing (9 Evans Hill Rd, Sinking Spring)!

This fun event will be held on Saturday, September 26th, from 6 pm to 9 pm and is a great way to relax and mingle with fellow Pacers.

Your ticket includes wine, beer, soda, a large variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, desserts, and more.

The main event will be in the barn, but if it is nice weather, please feel free to bring a chair to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Tickets are $20 per Pacer Member and $25 for non-members through 9/12 and then $25 for members and $30 for non members through 9/26. Tickets must be bought in advance online; we will not be accepting cash at the door. Advance ticket purchase makes this much easier on the club volunteers and helps get an accurate head count for food and alcohol. Also, you must be 21 to attend and please leave the little ones at home to enjoy an evening out with your friends. We can’t wait to see you there!

Run. Bike. Swim. Under the stars.

Wednesday Night Run Special Edition!

Join us on Wednesday, July 29 for the return of Run. Bike. Swim.

Meet in the parking lot at Wilshire Pool
3035 Van Reed Rd., Reading, PA 19608

At 6:15 PM, choose your adventure:

  • Join our regular Wednesday Night Run with one of our pace groups, or
  • Hop on your bike for a group ride.

After your run or ride, take some time to cool down or make a quick stop at Giant to pick up your favorite snacks and beverages before the pool reopens for the Moonlight Swim at 8:00 PM. (Food and alcohol are permitted at the pool, but please remember: NO GLASS CONTAINERS!)

At 8:00 PM, we’ll head into the pool and gather under the pavilion. A DJ will keep the music going until 10:00 PM while we splash the night away. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a summer Wednesday with your Pacers friends.

  • FREE for Pagoda Pacers members
  • $7 for guests

Whether you run, ride, swim, or just come to socialize, we’d love to see you there!

There were familiar faces and some newcomers, and a great time was had by all.

If you have any suggestions for the 2026 party, please let me know. This party is for you, the members, and I want you all to have a memorable night.

The Pacer Christmas Party is THIS FRIDAY–Volunteers Needed!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Jules is going to need some help at this year’s Christmas party. This is a great way to get a volunteer signature on your Pacer Passport.

Thursday, December 4: 6pm-? Help is needed setting up tables and chairs, decorating, displaying raffle items, etc. It shouldn’t take too long. Many hands make light work.

Friday, December 5: Half-hour shifts, starting at 5:45 p.m.
3-4 people needed to help with check-in and raffle ticket sales.
8:30 p.m. – 2 people to pull and record raffle prizes.
