Thank You, Pacers! (June ’26)

Thank You, Pagoda Pacers!

A heartfelt thank you to the Pagoda Pacers for your incredible support at our Spring 5K! We are so grateful for your partnership and for the many volunteers who helped cheer on participants, support the course, and create a joyful, encouraging experience for every girl and family who crossed the finish line.

Your energy, dedication, and community spirit helped make this season’s celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you for helping our participants feel strong, confident, and supported every step of the way.

Save the Date!
Our Fall 5K Celebration will take place on November 7 at the Berks Heritage Center. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again this fall!

“Thank You” from PA Special Olympics for 2025 Charlie Horse Donation

On Sunday, October 19, Charlie Horse race directors, Shaun and Kelly, along with founders and longtime race supporters, Charlie and Kate Crowell, presented a check for $1,625 to Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Every year Charlie Horse Trail Half Marathon (and Dirty Pony 5k) donates its proceeds to support athletes in the Berks County area. We would like to thank all the Pagoda Pacers that volunteered, ran, or otherwise supported our race—we cannot do it without you!

Charlie Horse will take place May 24, 2026, so save it in your calendar and come out to support a great cause. We look forward to seeing you there!

Happy trails,

RDs Shaun and Kelly

Thank You, Pacers! (February ’24)

The Pagoda Pacers donated $2,000 of the Oley Valley Country Classic proceeds to the Oley Ambulance Association. This money will go toward offsetting the cost of a new ambulance. The Pacers are excited for this year’s event, which will take place during the first weekend of November. This will be the 30th running of the OVCC; watch for some exciting new changes that will be announced soon! Thanks for running this event and supporting our local community
